The advantage of polyamide base compared to fiber baseis that they allow a greater force of pressure on the user's workpiece during sanding. The polyamide base allows disc wear except for thickness and wear by diameter using the TRIM technique. Scorpion Abrasive adopted the production of the so-called Double discs, which are the most efficient when sanding stone and turn the job into a real pleasure.
The characteristics of our flap discs are the world's first sanding with a PA6 carrier reinforced with glass fibers. The elastic disc carrier enables a larger contact surface of the sanding grains with the work surface. The disc carrier absorbs heat and vibrations, thus protecting the user and the working machines. The PA6 substrate enables the consumption of the lamellar grinding wheel down to the last millimeter.
